Once you step outside our farmhouse, find a bench to sit down and tune into the melodies of singing birds. With a little luck, you will be able to see a dipper dive into the river, swim and leap from one stone to another. Even the heron occasionally passes by here ... chickadees often nest near our front door.

Not only do the rooms, walls and furniture, but everything here has a story to tell ... the first floor of the family home, where our grandparents (Cecilia and Gottfried) and other ancestors lived, was renovated and made into a holiday apartment for our guests. We preserved the authentic room décor and architecture: the "stube", the "stangode" and a wide corridor that we call "doors" in Ladino, along with ancient wooden walls, warm larch floors and furniture made of Swiss pine. Nothing is missing for those looking for simple but genuine experiences. With over 100m² the apartment is spacious and comfortable. It features a bright entrance veranda, a bathroom with shower, a spacious and modern kitchen, two bedrooms (duble or twin) and all the creature comforts of today (refrigerator, radio, TV, WiFi ...).
During the season and when there is availability we can supply some fresh vegetables from the garden.

The Stüa

The stüa was and still is the heart of our farmhouses. Its painted walls have given shelter and warmth to many generations, with the long wall bench having seated large families and many traveling guests. Once it was the only heated room in the house, in addition to the kitchen. Here one worked and rested, but it also served as a meeting place. Now everything has been restored, keeping the original parts where possible: the painted wooden walls and ceiling, the larch floorboards. We renovated the stove, bringing it up to current environmental and energy standards, but maintaining the basic shape and characteristics of the original. You can use it yourself with wood (supplied by us and following our instructions). The surrounding bench is made of Swiss pine and was the most coveted place for adults, while children climbed on the "furn", a small loft placed above the stove. We are curious where your favorite place will be after a good day of skiing on the fabulous Dolomiti Superski slopes.

The stangode

Historically it was the parents' room and accessible directly from the stube. The coffered ceilings and walls are particularly welcoming. Two panoramic windows overlook the Gran Ega river and Gherdenacia. The Swiss pine wood furniture with its unmistakable, relaxing scent is custom-made and recalls the simple but authentic style of our heritage.

The second bedroom, which cam be made into double or twin, is also made entirely of wood. The walls and the floor are the work of our father / grandfather Paul, who in addition to being a farmer, has always been passionate about woodworking.
On request it is possible to add a cot for small children. We also have a booster seat, a bouncer and some games for your little ones.
